Carol started the founding initiative for Kiel International School in 2016. She has been working in the service sector for two decades, including education and social services, in communications, information technology and design. Since 2010 she has been working as an independent organizational and personnel development coach for clients in Germany and Europe and currently also as project coordinator for The Bay Areas Network. She holds a degree in Social Education with a major in social management by the Protestant University of Berlin.
Carol believes Kiel International School will be beneficial for the Kiel region, its inhabitants and those beyond.
Wiebke OmernikWiebke has worked at various schools in Germany and in Belgium and currently works in teacher training at the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel. She is a teacher for history, German and German as a foreign or second language. She holds a degree in Education and Teaching by the University of Flensburg and she has a four year old son.
Wiebke supports Kiel International School with the intention and motivation to create an alternative school for the Kiel region, which not only focusses on modern school education, but in which all, students, teachers and parents, feel comfortable.
Sabine supports the founding team of Kiel International School with her extensive teaching experience at international schools.
Friends of KIS
The procurement of funds (e.g. grants, sponsorship, donations and other grants) for the establishment, maintenance and further development of Kiel International School.
